(misquoted 308), figs, early 17th c. brown calf, spine with 3 nerves and mute, ornamented boards, double gilt fillet on covers, restorations (bites cracked, snags on one cut, last f. strengthened with small lac. in margin; sustained wetness on the whole volume). First edition of this pocket ephemeris composed by Jean d'Ongoy (c. 1530 - c. 1600), printer-librarian and author of historical compilations and satirical pieces, published by himself. 15 mid-page woodcut figures illustrate the works of each month. [Sign. *-***8 ****4 A-Z8 Aa-Bb8]. Copy including, especially at the beginning of the volume, numerous annotations of the time. Manuscript bookplate dated 1771 scratched into the title, with small hole. (USTC 10076).
