A memoir of the dissensions that arose in 1724 between the different bodies in charge of the royal guard, to find out where each one stood near the king's carriage during his travels. Illustrated with a woodcut vignette and initial at the head of the dedication to the king. The vignette bears the signature of engraver Vincent Le Sueur (1668-1743).
