In-8, [4] f., XXIV-557 p., [5]f., contemporary green bronze morocco, spine with 5 nerves, red title-piece, cold filets on the spine and covers, gilt fillet on the edges, inner gilt roulette, pink silk lining and endpapers, gilt edges (spine faded, small stains, 2 corners dulled) New edition. Corrected & increased with the hymns of the Church, with notes taken from the Holy Fathers. Embellished with a frontispiece engraved by Pieter Louis Van Schuppen after Philippe de Champaigne (dated 1671), and with the mark of Louis Josse on the title. A fully set copy. Text in red and black. Old handwritten bookplate in the margin of the title. Latin office illustrated with 57 beautiful full-page compositions, and a vignette to the title, all engraved on copper. Two engravings are signed "C. de Mallery". Printed in red and black; decorated with 4 beautiful full-page engravings representing the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Last Supper and the Assumption. Two small engravings of the period inserted, and another one pasted on a guard, accompanied by a Latin text in stencil. In-8, [16] f., 519 p., antique black morocco, smooth spine, bordered by a roulette and decorated with a central fleuron, similar decoration on the boards with a large fleuron, all gilt, edges gilt and somewhat chiselled (worms' trav. at the head of the spine, cover lacuna at the tail, split over 2 cm at the upper jaw, one corner rubbed; head margin of frontispiece cut out, some stains on title and margin of frontispiece, light angular wetness in 2nd quire).
