Delicately carved "M'po" female mask. Fine diamond-shaped scarification marks and a cross-shaped motif on the forehead. The mouth reveals small pointed teeth. Pierced ears. Copper buckle on the right ear. Hard wood with a honey-colored lacquered patina. Tschokwe people, Angola. H. 22 cm.
