Hàm Nghi, prince of Annam (1871-1944), called TU XUAN.
Oil on canvas.
Dated lower right "February 11, 1902".
24.1 × 35.4 cm.
In this impressionistic painting, Hàm Nghi works on the transparency of the air and the overwhelming sunlight of winter in Algeria. The vertical or oblique strokes, melted, bring an impression of movement that takes the viewer's gaze to the horizon.
