[Chromolithographs] [Collector's cards]. In-4 album in red percaline, chromolithographed medallion in the center of the upper cover in a large black and gold decoration, blue "Album" title label, smooth spine, including approximately 570 vignettes of chromolithographs, postcards, portraits of queens and kings and city views, all glued together. Circa 1880-1900 (some snags in the margins, a few tears and folds to the cards).
The chomolithographs illustrate various themes: caricatures, young children, animals, angels, Easter, lettering, baseball players, flowers, jugglers, Pierrot, Robinson, Nubians; small trades; kings and queens of France; battles; castles; French regions; landscapes, means of locomotion; and brand names "Chocolat Devinck", "chocolat Poulain", "chocolat Guérin-Boutron", "Grande cordonnerie St-Jean", A. Benoiston", "Au Bon Marché", "A. Pygmalion", "Chaussures Raoul", "Chicorée nouvelle Casiez-Bourgeois", "Cacao Suchard", "Maison du Moine Saint Martin", "Chocolat Meunier", "Album chocolats Peter, Cailler, Kohler, Nestlé", "Chocolat Klaus".
