BENOIT Pierre (1886-1962) M.A. and M.A.S., entitled "La consultation". (s.l.n.d. [Bidart]). 55 pp. in all 44 pp in-4 and 11 pp. in-folio. Both manuscripts bear the same title, "La consultation", and this work appears to be unpublished. The first is more elaborate, with numerous corrections, erasures and additions; it could be considered a draft or first draft. The second, cleaner version could be considered a more accomplished version of the text. The plot takes place in a doctor's surgery, between the doctor (DR Roger Cast...), the sick child's companion (a former conquest of the doctor's), and the suffering child. It was probably during Pierre Benoit's stay in Bidart during the Second World War that the manuscript was given by Pierre Benoit to the owner's grandmother.
