In-4, forest-green morocco, spine with 4 raised bands, gilt author, title and date, double gilt fillet at edges, gilt edges, morocco-edged spine flaps decorated with 8 gilt fillet borders, forest-green satin lining and endpapers, marbled paper double endpapers, covers and spines preserved, gilt edges on witnesses, lined slipcase [René Aussourd] (spine faded to bear brown). Edition illustrated with 30 original color etchings by Henri Jourdain, including one on the cover. Limited edition of 200 copies, this one no. 1 of 10 on Japon supernacré, nominative for Robert Hostater, including an original watercolor signed lower left, 15.5 x 15.7 cm; a watercolor sketch signed lower right, 15.2 x 7.2 cm; a color suite with remarks; a black suite; a color decomposition suite. Without the two copper plates announced in the justification.
