Altered edition, engravings by Louis Moreau missing and replaced by 2 plates by Johannot and a vignette. Printed on wove paper. - Passion du jeune Werther. A Paris, chez Pigoreau, an VIII [1799]. In-18, [1] f., 251 p., pastiche modern fawn basane, smooth gilt spine, title-piece, frieze and fillet framing the boards, gilt head, gilt lace on the counterpane, covers and spine preserved, untrimmed (freckles). Engraved frontispiece.
