First edition. 50 color plates by Alexandre Iacovleff and numerous in-text drawings from "Croquis de route et notes de voyage". Limited edition of 720 copies: one of 700 with the text on Madagascar-Lafuma and the plates on vellum pur chiffon Lafuma (no. 496).
