Large in-8, green chagrin, smooth spine, gilt author, title and fleurons, orvale radial fleuron mosaic decorated with round gilt scrolls, boards with gilt and mosaic decoration of three trees, a chick in its nest, mom bird in flight and clouds, cold fillet at the edges, gilt head, chagrin-edged spines decorated with triple gilt fillet, illustrated cover and spine preserved, edged slipcase [René Kieffer]. 47 color stencil compositions by Jacques Touchet, including one on the cover, one on the title and 45 in the text. Limited edition of 500 copies: one of the top 20 on japon (n°3) containing a suite in black of the engravings on japon and an original watercolor on vellum.
