MOZIN (Charles). Marine sketches drawn from nature and lithographed. Paris, Rittner & Goupil, 1841. In-4 oblong, contemporary tan half-chagrin, title and authors in gilt medallion on upper board, similar gilt medallion on lower board (spine missing, corners and edges dulled, browning). First series comprising 24 two-tone lithographs by Formentin & Cie, including 4 enhanced in watercolor and gouache by an amateur, all mounted in serpents. Painter and lithographer Charles Mozin (1806-1862) settled in Trouville-sur-Mer in 1839, where he lived and worked until his death.
