In-8, [2] f., 41 p., [1] f., fr., figs, pearl-gray silk binding with matching laces, frontispiece reproduced on upper cover + suites bound in azure moiré satin, all in matching slipcase (rubbing to spine of slipcase). Beautiful reprint of this classic of galant literature, illustrated with engraved plates and vignettes after Eisen, in full color. Issued in an edition of 250 copies on japon : one of 200 (no. 17) with the figures in color ; enriched with 2 suites, one in bistre on japon (which does not include the frontispiece), the other in black on Chine.
