- Mr. Blanchet , éditions d'Auteuil, with a view to the production of a book illustrated by the artist.
- Purchased directly from the artist in 1962.
- Final settlement with the notary of the estate through the gallery Louis Carré in 1963.
Camille Renault was a famous restaurateur and patron of the arts. In his restaurant in Puteaux, he received the Puteaux group of artists such as Kupka, Léger, Gleizes and Villon. The artists offered Camille Renault a painting in exchange for fifty to one hundred free meals.
