(publisher's catalog), fr, pl, contemporary red morocco, smooth spine decorated with a saber supporting a Phrygian bonnet, gilt title, gilt roulette bordering the covers and chasses, gilt edges (3 dull corners, brown spots). Pocket version of the Constitution (h = 93 mm. excluding binding), in a pleasant revolutionary morocco binding. Illustrated with 2 copper-engraved plates by Dergez, one an allegorical frontispiece, the other showing the King accepting the Constitution.
