SENAULT (Louis). Heures nouvelles tirées de la Sainte Écriture. A Pars, chez l'autheur, et C. de Hansy, [circa 1700]. In-8,  f., 260 p., contemporary veined fawn calf, 5-ribbed spine, ornate caissons, red title-piece perhaps renewed, triple gilt fillet bordering the boards, gilt fillet at the necks, roulette at the endpapers, gilt edges (rubs not severe, 2 worm spots on lower board).
A charming work entirely engraved on copper by Louis Senault, featuring numerous ornaments in the style of the calligraphy models of the time, as well as ornate initials. Second printing identifiable by the presence of flowers masking the breasts of the mermaids on p.210.
