In-8, leaves, filled illustrated cover, red half-suede jacket and red suede publisher's slipcase (jacket slightly split, rubbed). 30 illustrations by Édouard Chimot, including 19 color lithographs, including the cover, and 11 sanguine drawings. Limited edition of 1,051 copies: one of 16 hors commerce on chiffon d'Anonnay reserved for the illustrator Édouard Chimot (n° HC 10). Our copy is enriched with an original drypoint and a suite in black of the 19 lithographs; and an autograph dispatch signed by Édouard Chimot in blue ink "to Monsieur Defferrez (?), this English story which shows that 18th-century Englishmen were not afraid of libertinism, sympathetically".
