[Late 18th and 19th centuries] Set of 10 medals in bronze, 1 in silver and 2 in copper, refrappées by the Monnaie de Paris including: - July 14, 1790, Fête de la Fédération medal in bronze. On the obverse, a large allegorical scene depicting crowned France taking the oath on the altar of the Patrie, on the reverse, the inscription surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves "confédération des français". - Peace of Campo Formio with Austria 1797, bronze medal. On the obverse, a portrait of Napoleon with the inscriptions "Bonaparte général en chef de l'armée franc. en Italie" and "Offert à l'institut nat. par B. Duvivier"; on the reverse, the allegory of Victory with the inscriptions "Paix signée l'An 6 Rep. fr." and "Les sciences et les Arts reconnaissants". -Battle of Marengo 1800, bronze medal. On the obverse, a profile portrait of the First Consul surrounded by the Victory flags and a battle scene engraved by Montagny, with the inscriptions "Bonaparte Premier Consul de la République Fran.se" and "Bataille de Marengo le XXVI prairial an VIII"; on the reverse, the passage of the Grand Saint Bernard on XXV floréal an VIII, engraved by Montigny after Andrieu. -La mort de Napoléon à Ste Hélène 1821, bronze medal. On the obverse, a portrait of the Emperor, surrounded by a crown bearing the names of his great victories; on the reverse, the island of Ste Hélène flown over by an eagle and the inscriptions: "Il mourut sur un rocher" and "Ile de Ste Hélène 5 mai 1821". - Comitia Americana, bronze medal. The obverse features a bust portrait of John Paul Jones, while the reverse depicts the capture of the English frigate HMS Serapis in 1779. -Constitution, La Fayette Commandant Général de la Garde Nationale, 1789, bronze medal.
