Very good condition of this volume compiling two titles by Hermann Boerhaave (1668-1738), the famous Dutch physician. The aphorisms are a tribute to Hippocrates. They cover a wide range of subjects (rabies, cancer, rheumatism, catalepsy...). The second title is a compilation of medicinal recipes. Attractive binding, pleasant copy.
