Work by Swiss botanist Louis Théodore Frédéric Colladon (1792-1862), known for his research on cassia, a flowering plant often used to treat skin problems. The study is enriched by twenty plates, three of which are fold-outs showing the plant and its flowers. Good condition; a few scattered brown spots, not serious. A good copy.
