In this rare work, Henri Marie Husson (1772-1853), secretary of the vaccinia committee and physician to Elisa Bonaparte, presents medical advances in vaccination against vaccinia, a bovine disease. He promoted the use of this fledgling technique. This new edition was prompted by the interest shown by the Ministry of the Navy in spreading vaccination to India, for soldiers in garrison. It is enlarged with new advances and experiments since the previous edition. Nice piece.
