Pages browned, scattered foxing, overall split at pages 84 and 85. First edition of this memoir from the workshop of Villefranche's first printer, whose authorship is the subject of debate. "The authorship of this memoir, sometimes attributed to Louvet (Morel de Voleine, Péricaud), sometimes to Père de Bussières (Le Long, Guillon, Troliem, Barbier, Brunet), sometimes to Lourrens (Galle, Hist. du Beaujolais, T.1, p.XLIV), sometimes to an anonymous person (Brisson, La Roche la Carelle, Aug. Bernard)" (Marius Audin in Bibliographie beaujolaise, 1906 - N°502). Incomplete with figure. Handwritten ex-dono dated April 6, 1847. Copy in good condition.
