First edition of this anti-German satire by Félicien Champsaur, following his visit to the Verdun battlefield in 1916. The work is introduced by a preface entitled "L'Enfer de Verdun" (The Hell of Verdun) and is illustrated in black and red. Enclosed, by the same author: "L'Amant des danseuses". Paris, Ferenczi, 1926. In-8 br, illustrated cover. 272 pp. with a 32-sheet booklet of blue and pink illustrations and facsimiles in the middle of the book. Autograph letter on front cover.
