In quarto / In-4 (240x190mm), paperback with folded cover in Japon nacré. 200 pages, 1 frontispiece and 45 black and colored etchings, head and tailpieces. Cover with brown spots, stain on second cover. Charming edition illustrated with very fine original etchings by Charles Martin (1884-1934). This is a novelized version of the play of the same name, first performed in 1919 at the Bouffes-Parisiens. Limited edition of 215 copies, this one of 165 numbered on vélin de Rives (n°119). A fine, well-preserved copy.
