Text volume: 188 pages; plate volume: 1 title page and 169 plates (flyleaf) comprising 2626 black photographic reproductions. Text in Spanish. Case and folders shaded at spine and margins, folders worn and frayed with a few tears at spine ends, some foxing in margins of title and last few plates, otherwise fine condition inside. First edition of the very first systematic catalog of bronze objects from the Iberian Peninsula, introducing a nomenclature still in use today. The text volume describes the 2626 bronze objects illustrated by black photographic reproductions on the front of the 169 loose leaves of Volume II. A pleasant copy of this rare and sought-after catalog.
