Ear bowl and lid with display stand in 950‰ silver, the ears in the form of large shells, the lid grip in the form of a seed, richly ornamented with twisted flutes alternating with fleurons, a frieze of ovals at the edge.
The contoured filets model display stand is highlighted on the wing by engraved shells amidst reeds alternating with fluting. A frieze of ovals around the edge.
Paris, 1736-1737 (horse discharge mark). Charles SPIRE, received master on 13.10.1736 (letters CS topped by two palms in saltire with the fleur-de-lys above between two grains of medicine).
