Register offering accounts of hunt at court (Forêt de Compiègne, Forêt de Bourth, Forêt de Breteuil, Forêt de Louches, Bois de La Garenne, Forêt de Saint-Groult, Forêt de Rosny), from Monday, February 15, 1886, to November 26, 1889. - [Small venery]. Pre-printed and hand-written hunting register. 19th century. In-8 oblong, ca. 100 leaves written in r° and v°, basane aubergine, cold-stamped upper plate with monogram R.C.J. under crown (J. de Rohan Chabot), marbled slices (leg. rub.). Among the participants in these hunts devoted to small game and deer, we note the names of: Count of Cambaceres, Count of La Bourdonnaye, Countess of Jarnac, Viscount of Gouvion Saint-Cyr, Count of Puységur, La Rochefoucauld, Hersaint, Duke of Mortemart - [Manuscript]. [Hunting]. Season 1889-90. [Hunting reports]. Notebook petit in-4, soft black basane, gold fillet, marbled edges. Half of the notebook is filled in, about 50 sheets written in r° and v°, the rest is blank. Hunting in the forests of Compiègne, Conches, Bouth, and Breteuil, in particular, from Saturday March 8, 1889 to April 13, 1891. That is to say 3 volumes.
