Edition illustrated with 4 coloured engravings, after drawings by Henri Allouard. One of 50 copies on Hollande paper (the only large paper reported), including a black continuation of the illustrations. Bound with all its margins. Provenance: Jean Stern (1875-1962), fencer, banker and man of letters (engraved bookplate). Attached: - LA FONTAINE (Jean de).
