[Book of the 16th c.] [Hours on vellum]. Set of 2 books of hours printed on vellum around 1500, fragmentary.
- Hours in illuminated Latin, probably published in Paris by Gilles Hardouyn. 17.5 x 8 cm. modern cream suede binding covering an earlier binding (russ. & soiling, partly unbound, q. f. a little gnawed in margin, stain on 2 pages).
 discontinuous leaves, signed B-C 8, D (2 f.), E (6 f.), G (6 f.), H8. Text in Roman type, on a column of 34 lines, ruled. Adorned with 10 miniatures painted in color and gold, 5 of them at the head of the pages in a painted frame; most of the initials painted in gold on a blue or red background.
- Hours in Latin, 145 x 100 mm, modern Bradel-style parchment, title in black on spine (sustained browning and distortion of f., small spots at head of q. ff., q. defects).
 discontinuous leaves, text in gothic on a 23-line column, woodcut illustrated frame on each page; one full-page figure, and 29 vignettes in the text, all woodcut. Initials painted in gold on red background.
