Two one-volume works in-8, brown calf binding, smooth spine with double gilt binding, gilt title, double gilt binding on covers (rubbed binding, flattened caps, split jaws, worn corners; paper usually and uniformly yellowed). Each title page is decorated with a border with flowers and birds, engraved on copper, with the mark of the bookseller L'Angelier also engraved on copper in the centre. Set copy. Repeated 17th c. manuscript bookplate, formerly masked by pieces of paper on the upper guard and in the margin of the title.
