[Cartoon]. Royal HOUSEHOLD. In Brussels, by Jobard, [ca. 1831]. In-12 oblong, contemporary red half-basin, spine with five raised bands, gilt title, double gilt fillet on covers, illustrated upper cover preserved (head and spine rubbed, sustained brown spots, missing 1 cm at foot of first plate without loss of illustration). Collection of 24 engraved plates of caricatures against Charles X; the cover offers an additional composition. This Brussels edition is most probably a counterfeit of the sequel published in London, by C. Tilt, in 1831, under the title "The Royal Menagery". Attached: NADAR, BATAILLE (Charles). In-12, 30 p., contemporary burgundy half-percaline, red basane title-piece, covers preserved (corners of head-pieces and title-piece rubbed). First separate edition of this fantasy which was first published by Poulet-Malassis in the collection "Théâtre érotique de la rue de la Santé", in 1864 (Oberlé, Poulet-Malassis, 385; Vicaire VI, 4).
