NEVJESTIC. RICHAUD (André de). The creation of the world. Nancy, Beaux Livres - Grands Amis, 1970. In-4, 146 p., in sheets with a filled cover, illustrated by embossing, folder and case (spine of the folder unstained).
Illustrated with 15 aquatints in color by Nevjestic, 5 of which are full-page, accompanied by 42 ornaments engraved on lino. The titles, subtitles & lettering were drawn & woodcut by Robert Blanchet.
Printed at 200 numbered copies on Rives vellum : one of the copies reserved for the collaborators (n°40), enriched with a suite of the 5 large color engravings on strong Arches vellum, signed and numbered 2/10, 3 greeting cards with signed color engraving, one of which framed, a suite of the engravings by Robert Blanchet, the booklet of the speeches made on the occasion of the publication, an exhibition catalog of Nevjestic (Milan, 1971). The first edition of the text is enclosed (Grasset, 1930, in-12 paperback, press issue no. CCXXIV), with an autograph letter signed by the author to the academician John Charpentier.
