Fort in-folio, [6] f., 1213 p., [1] f., contemporary havana calf, on wooden boards, 6-rib spine, fawn title-piece, boards decorated with a double frame of cold-cut roulettes, one with portraits in medallions, with fillets and angular fleurons, bolts and umbilicals, copper corners and clasps, gilt title and owner's name on lower board (flaws including headpieces and upper bindings roughly restored, front cover and back cover roughly restored). roughly restored, cover split on lower cover along spine; clasps probably attached or at least misplaced; title faded, dampstaining at foot of pages, sustained at beginning of vol. with gaps in margin of title, then fading; ink stains on pp.660-661 and 849).
