In-12, [12] f., 180 p., contemporary velin souple, smooth spine, title and date in ink (sustained foxing). First edition of this collection by Protestant poet Jean Ogier de Gombauld (c. 1590- 1666), one of the first 40 members of the Académie française, elected in 1634. Signature on lower flyleaf "Hte Luchaire, 1850", and poem probably by the same hand on the upper flyleaf.
