Beautiful first edition of this translation with the text opposite, given by La Grange, and revised by academician Jacques-André Naigeon. It is illustrated with a title-frontispiece and six out-of-text figures engraved by Binet after drawings by Gravelot. Copy on fine paper with wide margins. (Cohen, 664). Provenance: P.
