[At colophon] : Lugduni impressa in aedibus Iacobis Mareschal, 1528. 4 (of 7) volumes in-folio, 377 + 315 + 440 + 479-[1] f., 18th c. vellum, smooth spine, title in ink on spines, old handwritten title in ink on edges (minor wear and minor tears to bindings; some ff. browned, foxing, occasional wetness in margins, more extensive in foot margins of t.4; sporadic worm damage, affecting a few letters in t.1, t.3 and end of t.2). Volumes I, II, III and IV of this edition of the Vulgate including the "Postillae" and "Moralia" by Nicolas de Lyre, the "Additiones" by Paul de Sainte-Marie and the "Replicationes" by Mathias Döring. It reproduces the 1520 edition published by the same bookseller, this one following the Basel edition, Froben, 1506-1508. Text in Roman script, on a central column with glosses on either side, woodcut initials. Each title page is illustrated with a repeated woodcut vignette and frame; a few woodcut figures in the text.
