Machuel, 1779. 2 vol. in-12, contemporary speckled havana basane, smooth spine decorated, title and giblets (in different colors for each vol.), marbled edges (headpieces worn, spine split over a few centimeters, corners a little dull, worm damage to the corner of one board, small marginal halo, few russets, flyleaf detached).
New revised edition of this philosophical and initiatory novel by Andrew Ramsay (1693-1743), the Scottish writer who wrote one of the founding texts of 18th-century Freemasonry. Bilingual text in French and English.
