(including title-front), contemporary red morocco, five-ribbed spine, gilt caissons, gilt title, covers richly decorated with vegetal interlacing in filleted frames, edges gilt (faded tan, rubbed, corners dulled, small split at tail of lower jaw; sporadic spotting in margins). Frontispiece and 4 full-page figures, one opposite each book, engraved on copper by Audran after Lubin Baugin or Philippe de Champaigne. Royal arms engraved on copper at the head of the dedication to Mademoiselle. Regulated copy. Old signature on the false-title: Jolly Jacquelieu.
