Stoneware Chawan-on-heel tea bowl of curved gadrooned form with green oxide glaze on half of the piece, separated by designs of a frieze of circles framed by brown-treated lines on a cream background. EDO period (1603-1868). 6 × 12.5 cm. (An enamel chip on the outside of the heel and a chip on the rim). Provenance : Osenat SVV, sale March 24, 2019.
