Silver tea-cup holder (875/1000th) with polychrome champlevé enamel decoration of geometric and stylized motifs, featuring a bust of a couple in traditional costume, under arcatures. Zoomorphic handle with bird's head, topped by a circular thumb rest. Assayer's hallmark for 1890. Goldsmith : U.G. Gross weight: 284 g. Russia, Moscow, 19th century. One silver spoon (875/1000th) with polychrome champlevé enamel decoration. Assayer's hallmark for 1889. Gross weight: 28 g. Russia, Moscow, 19th century. A cup of identical design with similar decoration was sold on April 16, 2012 (Christie's New York, lot 98). Another cup of the same model was sold on April 24, 2009 (Christie's New York, lot 51).
