Gastronomy. Set of menus from the early 20th century, includ - Lot 11
Gastronomy. Set of menus from the early 20th century, including one from the Lutétia. Set of 18 menus between 1894 and 1955. 9 menus are handwritten: black and blue ink, round cursive script, very legible. 1 menu in in-4 format (35x25cm), 2 menus in in-8 format (19x12cm), 15 menus in in-12 format (between 15x9.5cm and 17.5x10cm). Very good overall condition, some with a little foxing. All these menus are beautifully decorated or finely printed, making them attractive decorative pieces. The Lutétia menu is a double one, listing the dishes served for dinner on February 26, 1925, as well as the evening's musical program (Schubert, Puccini and Saint-Saëns). The menus are all illustrated. One of them, the largest, even has a hand-painted decoration. Attached to this lot is a set of 15 business cards by Emile Labarre and a signed watercolor.
