Beautiful late 19th century watercolor portrait of a woman in costume by artist Maria-Teresa Labarre de Raillicourt, née Princess Sapieha.
The anonymous model is shown in profile, wearing a period blue dress and pink parasol.
The work is signed "Candela Sapieha" and monogrammed with the artist's initials.
Very fine condition.
Provenance: Candella, daughter of Princess Céline Sapieha, first cousin and closest relative of Count Jacques Potocki.
