Here's what Bertrand Jestaz had to say in his review, written for the 1972 Bulletin monumental: "This is a book of great beauty in its presentation, easy to read, with an attractive subject and generous inspiration. It is not aimed at archaeologists or historians, but rather at a curious public who will take pleasure in leafing through these pages where the rigorous beauties of geometry alternate with the charms of picturesque imagery." The head cover of the dust jacket is slightly rubbed, otherwise, the book is in excellent condition.
