Manuscript. Artur de Keralio, Guillaume.
Set of two handwritten letters from Guillaume Artur de Keralio.
Both documents are written in brown ink, in round cursive, bound. Margin to the left of each document.
The first letter: Au marquis de Puységur, concernant sa pension de Maréchal de Camp.
At Versailles, December 3, 1788.
1 folio in-4 (31x5x20cm).
The first letter is a request from Guillaume Artur de Keralio to the Comte de Puységur, then Minister of War, for a pension. According to the letter, having been made Maréchal de Camp in 1788, Chevalier de Keralio should have received, in addition to his brevet, an indication of his salary, which he did not receive.
Very good condition, traces of a faded stamp under the Chevalier's signature.
Second letter: Declaration of obtaining a salary of 3200 livres per year.
Tréguier, April 27, 1789
1 leaf in-8 (23x18cm)
The second manuscript, written less than 6 months after the first, attests to the successful receipt of his pension, amounting to 3200 livres per year. This second manuscript ends, moreover, with a handwritten note that is not in the Chevalier de Keralio's hand.
Very good condition.
