Smooth spine decorated with gilt fleurons. 108 pages (unpaginated), including 54 plates. This work comprises 54 lithographs featuring portraits of the defendants and their defenders in the trials following the Canuts Revolt, a workers' uprising that took place in Lyon from 1831 to 1834. This set of portraits originally illustrated the book "Procès des accusés d'avril devant la cour des Pairs" published by Pagnerre in Paris in 1834. Satisfactory condition; some pages yellowed; scattered foxing. Solid binding.
