In quarto / In-4 format. Ecru half cloth p.242 to p. 442 pages, + 5 plates h. -t. By Dr. Eugène Michel (1819-1883). This volume is part of a vast treatise on the microscope. At the end of the book are five beautiful plates by Lackerbauer presenting microscopic views. Good condition; some foxing and slight yellowing, not serious. Later binding in very good condition.
