Work by Jacques Soubies dealing with the physiology of pilots of flying machines. Includes considerations on blood, "balloon sickness", temperature and the five senses. Copy in a later binding. Autograph signed letter from the author to "Monsieur Tissot" on the title page. Pages 113 to 144 are missing. Good condition; interior somewhat yellowed, but still bright. Solid binding.
