Morand, Paul. Fin de siècle. - Lot 3
Morand, Paul. Fin de siècle.
Published in Paris by Stock in 1957.
With a letter from the author
In twelve / In-12 paperback.
236 pages.
First edition in press service.
Autograph signed letter to Maurice Bardèche on title page.
Paperback, spine yellowed, two small traces of wetness: one on the spine, the other on the hinge of the second plate, inside fresh.
The book is only cut up to page 173, Bardèche perhaps not appreciating Morand's prose. However, this book is a collection of short stories, a difficult literary exercise in which Morand excels.
An original encounter.
