Edges rubbed and spines tired. An interesting copy for two reasons: - Very attractive Romantic binding featuring Gothic church windows on the boards - Handwritten notes and drawings by its former owner, including one depicting an ancient battle. The notes are prose reflections on the French Revolution or glory. Nice piece.
