Two volumes, In-8 format, brown publisher's percale. Top boards decorated in the fashion of the period. Approximately 2100 pages overall, accompanied by 723 figures in the text and several color documents or fold-outs, as well as four removable models of the human body or its parts at the end and beginning of each volume. The first documents and the title page of the first volume are detached. Two tears to title page. Some rubbing to edges and pages a little browned, otherwise good condition. These two interesting volumes with 1900-style covers are a treatise on natural medicine, in which, with numerous illustrations, the principles of healthy living, prevention and natural as opposed to more chemical treatments are set out. They are also an advertisement for the author-publisher's health establishments in Germany.
